I am Helen V. Martínez, a fine art and personal brand photographer based in State College, Pennsylvania. In 2021, I moved from my home in Venezuela to be closer to my family here in Happy Valley.

I am passionate about capturing the authenticity and joy of the human experience. It’s an honor to collaborate with each person as they celebrate life.

Inspired by the incredible women that helped make my transition to the United States a loving experience I created a photo collection called, “…Más que mujeres!” that was exhibited at 3 Dots Downtown in honor of International Women’s Day, 2023.

If you see me around town, you’ll spot me with my camera soaking up the beauty of Centre county. When I’m not behind the lens, I enjoy dancing, writing poetry, and cooking for my friends.
